The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) took notice of the arrangements done for the upcoming by-elections and reviewed the issues relating to all the provinces regarding it on Tuesday.

ECP has also appointed monitoring officers for different constituencies to keep a check on the adherence of code of conduct by the political parties. The code of conduct lays down guidelines for the candidates for their campaigns and electoral process.

According to ECP official, Deputy Commissioner Attock has been appointed as the district monitoring officer, while the deputy education officers of Hassanabdal and Fatehjang have also been appointed.

Deputy Commisioner Chakwal has also been appointed as deputy monitoring officer for Chakwal District.

These appointed officers will keep a check on the violations done by the political parties and reporting them to the concerned departments within the stipulated time.
